Model-Driven Approach

A single model for all your RAMST analyses

Model-Based Safety Assessment Diagram

Availability

Model logistics such as spare parts and maintenance operators, then simulate to determine availability rates.

Fault Trees

Define observers in your MBSA model and automatically generate all related fault trees.

FMECA

Automatically perform Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis based on your MBSA model's dependency aspects.

Testability

Integrate built-in tests into your MBSA model and let System-Analyst calculate coverage and localization rates.

Use the AltaRica Formal Language to Model Dynamic Systems

AltaRica is a formal language designed to model and analyze dynamic systems, especially those prone to failures or unexpected behaviors. It is widely used in safety and reliability engineering. Below is a simple example of a dynamic system modeled in AltaRica.

What is RAMST?

RAMST stands for:

  • Reliability: The ability of a product or system to perform a required function under stated conditions for a specified period.
  • Availability: The degree to which a system is operational and accessible when needed.
  • Maintainability: The ease with which a product or system can be repaired or maintained to retain or restore its operational capability.
  • Safety: The condition of being protected from harm or other non-desirable outcomes throughout the system's lifecycle.
  • Testability: The degree to which a system or component facilitates the establishment of test criteria and the performance of tests to determine whether those criteria have been met.
